GET CLOSE TO THE WHALES IN TARIFA
DOLPHIN AND WHALE SPOTTING
IN THE STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR
We are a team of professionals with an experience of over 10 years.
We work together with biologists who will be in charge of introducing you to the fascinating world of sea mammals.
Protecting the oceans and the marine wildlife is our main concern. On our trips we promote a respectful approach to sea life and nature.
Guaranteed whale or dolphin spotting on all tours. If, for some reason we are unable to see cetaceans, you can come again for free.
HERE´S YOUR CHANCE TO GET UP CLOSE TO THE GIANTS OF THE SEA !
The whale watch tours start in the port of Tarifa where you will get on one of our fast boats, all of which feature comfortable seats, life jackets and can sail the sea at great speed. Lots of fun guaranteed!
We will sail into the strait of Gibraltar making stops to observe the cetaceans on our way.
Thanks to our modern boat engine we will not interfere with the life of sea mammals, which is why many times this curious creatures will come really close to our boat. Prepare your camera for some incredible close-ups!
WHAT ANIMALS WILL WE SEE ?
Sometimes it’s pods of Striped dolphins, which travel in groups of up to 1000 individuals.
Other times it’s Common dolphins and large Atlantic bottlenose dolphins that can reach a length of 4 metres.
Sperm whales of up to 18 metres or Fin whales of up to 27 meters long are also common,
and we can’t forget the residents of the Strait: the Pilot whales.
If you come between mid July and end of August you will be able to spot Orcas, better known as Killer whales, as they follow the red tuna on its migration from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean sea.
Each trip is different because we’re watching wild animals in their natural habitat and we cannot predict what is going to happen, but we guarantee an unforgettable experience sailing between two continents!
Large fish and sea mammals swarm the strait of Gibraltar as it abounds in plankton and feeding opportunities, so you are bound to see amazing sea creatures on all our tours.
